The buttons can all be located by feel. The index finger buttons are located in exactly the right place next to Button 1, with the middle button exactly in the middle when I shift my finger over. The glide is excellent. It is a little bit heavy for my taste, but I'm comparing it to a SteelSeries XAI so I'm used to a light mouse.

Pros:

• Very comfortable
• Usable both wired and wirelessly
• Quick and easy installation
• Great customizable software, 13 programmable buttons
• On board memory with profiles
• Lots of buttons that can be useful and they stay out of the way and they are easy to reach.
• Silky smooth mouse tracking, even more smooth then the performance MX.
• USB cable plugs in such a way it looks like a wired mouse
• Can move wheel into click or free wheel mode
• Comes with AA rechargeable battery installed
• Patterned textures on the side of the mouse makes gripping easier.
• Left flange allows your thumb to guide the mouse movement easily.
• Internal memory allows you to store 5 different profiles.
• Middle mouse button can be used to click left and right. Scroll wheel can also be switched to silent (no clicking while scrolling).

Cons:

• Price? but you get what you pay for.
• Battery came half charged
• Takes Gamer software vs standard logitech setpoint (this can be confusing if you have other non gamer logitech products you have to run both.
• The battery drain is considerable compared to the wireless Performance MX. I only get 3 days of use. Also checking the battery status can now be assigned to a button. So you push it and it lights up the led's with how much battery is left.
• Not really designed for ambidextrous use.
• May be a bit too heavy for some users.
• No charging dock,A bit spendy.
